Fast internet but can't share screen or video on skype/teams/zoom

For the past month I have had issues when sharing my screen or having my video on, when on conference calls (skype/teams/zoom).  Once sharing screen/video my voice is robotic, jumpy or completely inaudible to the other participants.  I have run internet speed tests during those calls and am clocking >40Mbps.  

I have restarted my router, turned off any other devices in the house accessing the wifi --> these made no difference.

Sorry about the issues you're having with your video conferencing experience. That sounds like a frustrating thing to deal with. Let's look closer at this and get a solution worked out.

First thing I would check is to see if you have any preferred activities set up. If you don't, try turning on video calling. If you already have it set up, try turning off all preferred activities. In some instances, having no activities selected works best for some networks. Below are the instructions for those settings.
