Let me preface by saying I LOVE EVERYTHING GOOGLE! But I will say that I am very disappointed in the Nest Wifi Pro. I recently upgraded my internet to another service provider. (From SPECTRUM [400 mbps] to Ting Internet [2GB]). Same cost for 5x the speed is a no-brainer. However, much to my dismay, Nest Wifi Pro devices cap their Ports & Ethernet connectivity speeds to 1GB. Therefore I am onl getting half of what my sevice provides.
Don't know if it is possible, but I hope Google can resolve this with a software upgrade. Bc I may have to look at other brands in order to access the the full capacity of my internet speed. Lesson learned: pay attention to "Ports & Ethernet Connections" more than "Performance" on the Tech Specs.

Hello @TADK
This is not something that can be changed through a software upgrade – the Ethernet port hardware is limited to 1Gbps. There are some home WiFi solutions that have 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, but they are still a minority and often command a price premium. The hardware underneath looks more like 10Gbps Ethernet, but "underclocked" so it is a more expensive feature to include.
