Google Mesh constantly disconnecting

Mcc_usa

I have Google mesh. The router seems to stay consistently online. I have two mesh speakers connected to the router in other parts of the house. One in particular keeps losing connectivity. The other one loses connectivity periodically, but not near as often as the other. I’ve tried everything. I can reconnect, but then it goes off after a while.

The router is staying connected as well as spectrum connectivity. Kind of seems like a hardware issue. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately this has been a well known issue for YEARS.
What is also well known is Google support have and will do nothing to resolve it.

i personally have had this issue for over 4 years. Some times it’s one point every day for a week then it’s ok for a few weeks then the other point.

At the moment for the past 2 weeks I’ve had both points going offline every day at different times then today both points and the main router have gone offline. After rebooting them for the millionth time my wifi is completely useless. NOTHING is wrong with my internet connection as all the devices hardwired work perfectly fine.

i have spent months trying to work with google support to get nowhere.
as soon as i can afford to I will be replacing all google devices such as nest wifi, nest cameras and nest speakers as they are all useless and do not function as advertised

my advice DONT BUY GOOGLE PRODUCTS

Well some good news.

After 3 consecutive days and 4 years on continuous issues being completely ignored by Google “Support” I have finally resolved the issue with Nest Wifi.

I HAVE THROWN THEM OUT!!!!!!!!!!

Not just the wifi router and points but every Google product I had.

The complete and utter arrogance of Google and their completely useless support team is everything that is wrong with that company.

I will never buy another Google product and will tell everyone I can the same

Hi folks,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Nest Speakers getting disconnected; I’ll be more than glad to help you to fix this issue.

Before we start, I have some questions:

  • Does the issue start after an update?
  • What specific troubleshooting steps have you taken to solve this issue?
  • Are the Nest Speakers connected to a 2.5 GHz or 5G network?

In the meantime, you can take a look at the following article: Fix issues with a Nest speaker or display not connecting to Wi-Fi.

I’ll be waiting for your reply.

Regards,

Derick.
