I bought a wireless printer and I can’t get it to connect to the network. It finds the wifi on the printer, but when I enter the password - it fails to connect. I’ve also tried connect via the Canon app on my phone and my laptop, without any success. I spent 3 hours troubleshooting with Canon and they even sent me a replacement printer (that also does not connect). I believe this is a network issue, but I have no idea how to fix it.

The specifications says the printer in question supports 802.11n (also known as "Wi-Fi 4"), 2.4ghz, WPA2.
Nest Wifi supports that too:
But 2.4ghz and 5ghz is combined in one SSID (wireless network) on Nest Wifi, it can't be split up. Some devices, often IoT devices and printers, might not handle that well, even though it's a standard Wi-Fi feature. More on how Nest Wifi combines 2.4ghz and 5ghz in one SSID:

I'd try to disable WPA3 on Nest Wifi, it might be enabled by default. More on that:
I'd also try the "Wi-Fi Connection Assistant" provided by Canon, see the first link.
If the printer has an ethernet port (RJ45), you can connect it by ethernet cable. But it does not look like it has that?

Last resort is to either:

I will try it as soon as I’m back from vacation (Tuesday). Thank you!
