Pros: The Google Nest Mesh system was easy to set up. That's about it...
I've had the Google Nest Mesh system for several months now. I can honestly say, it is the most unreliable wifi system I have ever used. One or both of the points will go offline at least once per month. I have contacted Google about this several times, but they say there is nothing that can do to fix the issue. It is incredibly frustrating to deal with this untrustworthy system, I definitely would not recommend this to anyone.
It's truly unfortunate to see Google products perform this poorly. My next plan is to plug the points into wifi plugs and have them cycle on and off once a month. Hopefully this will prevent the points from failing on their own. My thought is, if I can power cycle them pre-emptively, maybe I can bypass the incredible design flaw that the points come with.
Wish me luck!

Hey MrBucket1,
Thanks for posting — let's see what's going on.
Are you using a modem/router combo from your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? How many devices are dropping from the network? Also, do you have any paused devices?
Give these steps a try:
Let us know how it goes.
