Google Nest Wi-Fi not allowing connection to VPN

My Google Nest Wi-Fi is providing Wi-Fi to all my devices but appears to be blocking my work laptop from accessing my work VPN. (I’ve spent several hours confirming that the issue is not one with my work laptop, work VPN, or modem). I’ve restarted my Google Nest Wi-Fi a few times, which has not resolved the issue. This issue just started suddenly ~two weeks ago, and had been continuous throughout that time. I am able to access my work VPN using a phone hotspot, this confirming the issue is one with the Wi-Fi router. Please help!

Additional information:  When I try to connect to my work VPN, I get the following message: "Connection attempt has timed out.  Please verify Internet connectivity."  Again, my internet works fine (I can web-browse), and my work laptop works fine (I can access the VPN using non-Google Nest Wi-Fi networks).

For those that may be interested in the future, Google wasn’t really able to help me with this issue (and no one responded to my post). I replaced my Google Nest Wi-Fi router with a TP link router, and that fixed the problem.
