I have two AC2200 / Nest Wifi router units in wireless mesh and haven't noticed any difference in performance with the new firmware. Works as expected.
How did you test the speed?
Have you tried to power cycle all network components?
Have you tried a different ethernet cable?
Have you tried a factory reset and set up from scratch?

1. I am testing through Google Home. Speed 80-90
2. Yes, I tried only the router itself. With nothing in network
3. Yes, and through another router and crimped the cable
4. I tried to reset the settings to factory settings 10-15 times
I took out the old Google Wi-Fi router and the problem was solved, now the speed is 750+ 850+
I saw your answers in other posts, although you write that you do not work for Google. But judging by your "help" to others, you are doing laundry there! The problem is not only mine, there are a lot of posts, but you are the only one... Thank you very much for your help. It would be better not to write anything

Being capped to right under 100mbps could indicate ethernet problems, as in being stuck on "fast ethernet". That's why asked those questions in my previous post.
People that do not experience problems often do not care to write about their experience. If every Nest Wifi customer experienced the problem you are facing I think we'd see more posts about it.
Screenshots taken today showing that I get > 100mbps with my Nest Wifi AC2200. The speedtest.net test was taken on a Samsung S24+.

I've escalated the thread, hopefully someone that actually works at Google can help.

I browsed the forum and I see that I'm not the only one with such problems, thanks, I'll wait for Google to fix everything. I work as an engineer in one of the largest banks in the country. I understand the network and technology. I did everything you described several times. The problem is not physical, but software! The same as many people who write here. You recommend to them either the same thing or a little different, they just answer you that they did everything. Can't you see that people are complaining

I never claimed nobody but you experienced issues with Nest Wifi.
As I don't work for Google I can't really do much but recommend some steps that might help, and if they don't I can escalate the thread.
Maybe it has something to do with ISP and WAN type? I have no idea, one would probably need access to the logs to troubleshoot further. Which we as customers do not have.
I'm in tech too, not having access to logs is.. frustrating. Would be great to have logs when my 2nd unit randomly disconnected once a week some months ago. Maybe we should buy Ubiquiti UniFi or similar next time?

Hi @ddzpp,
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that after you updated the software for your Google Nest WiFi H2, your speed dropped considerably. Let me help you with this.
I will ask some questions to gather more information about your case and look for the best way possible to help you:
In the meantime, please let's try the following steps to change your DNS servers, and then you can check your speed.
Please keep me updated.
Best regards,
Lusvin.

According to the first points:
1. I'm using now that I've already repaired a Google WiFi router plus 2 Google WiFi Nest points and a Nest WiFi Router (bridge mode) Now everything works perfectly. As I use the Nest Wi-Fi router as the main router - the speed does not rise above 95 Mbps even through the cable. Directly, everything is ok, through the Asus router, everything is ok, through the Google WiFi router, everything is ok. The problem is only with the Nest WiFi Router H2D model
2. There is no switch
3. Reset to factory settings 10-15 times, turned off everything, left only one router. Changed chargers. Changed routers (I have 2 Nest Wi-Fi H2D)
4. 26
5. I did not make any changes. I received a push notification that the speed has become lower than that, the router can work with the turnout and that's all
According to the second point: I always use Google's DNS) So this is done during the first network configuration
