As title states. My setup is a mobile 5g wifi hotspot modem in UK, provided by Vodafone, model is MU5001. I have a USB-C ethernet adaptor plugged into it. The USB-C port is the only one on the modem, the adaptor has an ethernet and a USB-C port available (USB for charging via mains).
Everything is set up correctly but the Wifi Pro Router won't recognise the internet when i set up through the Home app on my Android 15 Pixel 7 Pro.
I have carried out the reset process on all devices several times with the same result.
I'm looking for a solution to get the Router to connect to the internet through the ethernet cable connection.

Hello @DBUK
Like most consumer WiFi routers, Nest WiFi Pro requires a working Ethernet connection to your internet service. You've put some adapters together that could add an Ethernet port to your MU5001 if it actually supports that. But, until you're sure that's actually working, I wouldn't try setting up a Nest WiFi Pro. First, I'd focus on making sure that Ethernet port is working as expected. Connect a laptop or desktop computer that has an Ethernet port first, for example.
Basically, focus first on getting that new Ethernet port working. That is an MU5001 issue, not a Nest WiFi Pro issue, so you may have better luck posting in forums focused on the MU5001.

Thank you. You are correct, the MU5001 isn't giving a connection to a laptop using the RJ45 adapter.
