Had a Nest mesh network working fine - just had my broadband connection upgraded and one of the points has dropped off. Been trying to add it back in, no QR code on the bottom and the 8 digit code is barely visible but have tried all possible options of what the code could be - I can make out 5 of the 8 characters, and the other 3 are only one of two options, no luck. The Get Help option says I am trying to connect through Bluetooth and to connect to the device through wifi - tried that and is asking for a password to connect to the device wifi, which is not accepting my network password. Incredibly annoying
Thanks for reaching out to the Community forum. We'd love to help.
If there's no QR code to scan and the setup key on the bottom of your Google Nest Wifi point is barely visible, you may try taking a photo of it and zooming it in to make out the letters and numbers etched in the unit.
Keep me posted.
