Google Nest Wifi Pro Automatic Reboot

Over the last few weeks, every couple of days, my various printers, scanners, and Google Chromecast devices have become unavailable, and restarting them individually does not resolve the issue. Instead, the resolution has been to restart my Google Nest Wifi Pro. As soon as the network comes back up, all of my printers, scanners, and Google Chromecast devices once again become available. I have no sense of why this has become an issue in the last few weeks, but the resolution approach is consistent. I'd like to address this by scheduling an automatic reboot every night. How might I best achieve this?

Hi @PyynkBOB.

I apologize for the inconvenience that you are having, I know how important is scheduling an automatic reboot every night but in this case let me tell you that we don't have that option on our Google Wifi, but your feedback is important for us you can also submit feedback through the Google Home App for future reference, and let me tell you some troubleshooting steps that you can try on your Nest WiFi pro.

Step 1: Check for any special characters or spaces in the SSID or password, and as well you can try to change the password on Google Wifi's network

Step 2: Try to change the DNS

to change the DNS follow these steps below:

1. Open the Home App.

2. Tap favorites.

3. Tap Wifi > Network Settings > Advances networking.

4. Tap DNS.

5. Select custom.

6. Tap save.

Regards,

Mario.
