I purchased the Google Nest mesh Wifi bundle late 2024 from Amazon, thinking it would be a great setup for the new house we moved into. Only to run into an issue of my download/upload speeds coming down to a crawl at under 20mbs on average. Upon Googling this issue, doing multiple calls with my internet provider, and Google support, we found the issue was in fact the Google Nest Pro hardware.
This has also been confirmed by hundreds of other users online. The only fix is to reset the entire nest system and the speeds go back up. Before I get offered suggestions on how to "fix" the issue, I must let you know I have done everything, I have been on the phone with Google multiple times.
When connecting to any other router internet speeds are full speed. This is full stop a hardware issue, and it seems like Google has gone totally silent on this issue. I would like some type of update on the situation, or at the very least a refund for selling a premium product which knowingly does not work.
