Network cable connected, network cable not connecting

Connection issues, cable is connected then cable is not connected repeatedly. Light flash on then off  repeatedly

• What type of Google Nest Wifi device do you have? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify the model of your device.
• Does your modem have an internet connection?
• When did you first notice this issue happening?
• Is the issue with the parent or child point?
• What's the color of the light on the device?
  
• Have you tried using a different Ethernet cable?
