Google Nest wifi points offline

gunner63

Following a transformer blowout and losing power, my two Wi-Fi points went offline. I have pulled all plugs, disconnected power and performed a factory reset. The Router works and tv's, laptops, and other devices within it range work well. The two points though, don't. I reset and was able to make the connection but when it comes to reestablishing a connection with the "nest" there is an error.  I have done the reset and attempt at reconnection in the same room as the router. I am close as possible. I can't figure out if the issue is with the router not being able to hold the connection with the points or is it the points themselves. Was the transformer blowing a factor? Any advice would be appreciated.

...to add, it is in the "establishing the wifi mesh" that the error is populated.

Hi, gunner63.

Sorry for the issues you're having with your WiFi points. That sounds like a really frustrating issue. Thanks for letting me know the troubleshooting you've already tried.

There have been a few other users reporting this issue and I've passed it along to an internal team so that they can work on this and hopefully come up with a fix to roll out. As I learn more about the issue, I will update the thread. In the meantime, you can try contacting support directly, here: https://bit.ly/3o1aRK5.

I'll return with more information as soon as I have it. Thanks.
