Absolutely infuriating using google nest. It is unfathomable how poorly this works. I just got a new internet service provider in my home and have had to factory reset my google home/nest as a result….fine.
the problem? I have three points and can now only connect one of them. The others? Well, google can’t find them anymore…..so now I have one nest point for my whole house. Thanks google, well done. Nothing suggested works
1) factory reset - check
2) restart - check
3) moved points beside the router and point - check
now what google? I can’t call you because it seems they like to hide behind articles and chat bots. How the hell do you expect me to be happy with this? Now I have two points (that I paid for), that are now useless. This is complete garbage, how can you seek stuff like this? How do you not provide adequate support for resolution?

The other points must be factory reset as well, it can be done using the physical button. More info:

One last thing: IPv6 on Nest Wifi has caused strange problems lately. If you can't add the points given above information, one thing to try is to disable IPv6 ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6361450?hl=en ), add new Nest Wifi unit, then leave IPv6 off or enable it again.
