After setting up a google router 2nd generation, I get a message that says "problem connecting" can anyone help?

Sorry for the late reply on this, but I'll be happy to jump in and help you out here. You mentioned the issue starts after setup, but are you seeing any active connection at all, or is the error coming with the router being totally offline? Is this error for the router itself or for another device attempting to connect?
