Google Wifi Nest Pro and HikVision Cameras

I have just purchased Google Nest Wifi Pro 3 pack.  I am trying to connect my HikVision Cameras to the router.  I have plugged in the ethanol cable into the router and rebooted the NVR.  When I scan the QR code on the bottom of the router, the HikVision app is telling me the code is not recognisable.  Somebody suggested that HikVision cameras are not compatible with Nest Wifi Pro.  Before i return them, is somebody able to confirm this for me ?

Based on the information you've provided, it seems like you're trying to add the Google Nest WiFi Pro to the HikVision app. Could you please confirm if this is correct? If you're trying to do this, it won't be possible. The Google Nest WiFi Pro needs to be added to the Google Home app. If the HikVision camera app works with Google, you'll need to link the app through the Google Home app. In this case, you may need to contact the manufacturer of the cameras to confirm if they work with Google. Additionally, you can try connecting the cameras directly to your WiFi router without linking the HikVision app to the Google Home app to see if the cameras are able to get a strong WiFi connection.

Hi Jennifer, thank you so much for providing this advice. 

I have since been able to resolve the issue. It was apparently a setting in the camera profile that was preventing the cameras to connect to the network. It wasn't recognising the Google nest as a router.  

Thank you again for your response though as it was thorough.  I will recommend it to hopefully assit others who may have a query connecting the Hik Vision with the Google nest setup
