Hi I have a Nest Pro 3 pack and tried to set up one of the devices as the router. Blue light fashing - Goes through all of the set up routine - scan code - connecting to wifi - connected. Asks to create Wi-Fi name and password. Asks where is the device. Then checks for updates. Then reports the following error: erros resolving googlehomefoyer-pa.googleapis.com:443 [field:hostname look up error:address lookup failed for googlehomefoyer-pa.googleapis.com.:errorCode: -65568]. When I use another device in the pack as the router they work but this device then will not then connect as a wifi point? Any idea's

Hi @Roblesnjak,

Thanks for reaching out to the community page. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties adding one of your Nest Wifi Pro devices as a router or point in your system and also that you're getting an error message, especially since other points work correctly when used as a router. No worries, let's work together to get this fixed.

The error you're experiencing could be because your Nest Wifi Pro device might already be set up as a router or point in the Google Home app. Keep in mind that your system can only have one router, which is why you can't add another one. A good option would be to perform a factory data reset for your entire network. This will reset your network, allowing you to then try adding your devices back into the app. Then, you'll be able to add all your devices together and designate the correct one as the router. Please check out the following articles for steps to know how to perform a factory reset your Wifi device and set up Nest Wifi Pro.

Please keep me updated on how it goes after trying these steps.

Cheers,
Jonathan
