Old setup got all 400 mbps we pay for, same wires.  The wired ethernet connection from google wifi 'router' gives only 140 mbs. We are using modem>node>2 nodes mesh for wifi and modem>node>computer for wired ethernet connection.  Why is it a third of the speed available?

It likely has something to do with QoS, quality of service, which is about trying to give the end user a great experience in low latency dependant applications (games, VOIP), even when others on the same network do demanding activities like downloading big files.

Try disabling all the preferred activities in the Google Home app, it might help. Google Home app -> Wifi -> settings icon -> Preferred activities.

I have 1000/1000mbps fiber, and get usually around 900/900mbps on wired speed tests.

Hi, everyone.
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
Thanks.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
Thanks

I am having the same type of issue. I can only get about 90/3mbps when passing through the only node I am currently using. When I bypass the node I am getting 900/18mbps. Disabling preferred activities made no difference.
