Hi all,

I have a SBG8300 with Xfinity Internet gateway in bridge mode and you can connect to IPv6 sites. After 30 minutes it stops working and has local IPv6 addresses. Nothing short of rebooting everything fixes this. Does anyone else have a similar issue?

Hello Princess1956,

Thanks for posting and my apologies for the late reply. Could you please check your Google Home app if your IPv6 is turned on? Here’s how:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi > Settings > Advanced Networking.
  3. Check if IPv6 is turned on.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,
Abi
