Hi everyone,
I have plugged my google wifi router between my Internet Provider Box, connected to the internet with fiber, and my IPTV Android TV box, all with ethernet cables.
The TV Box, an Android device, can connect correctly to the Internet Provider Box for regular IP traffic, but not for IPTV. The TV Box seams to believes that the Google router (192.168.86.1), acting as DHCP provider, is the Internet Provider Box, and unfortunatly there is no way I can force the Internet Provider Box real IP adress (192.168.1.254) in the TV box.
Is there anyway I can configure the Google Router to redirect any activity from the TV box to the Internet Provider box, or can it work by changing the TV BOX DNS ?
Does anybody has any clue to solve this problem ?
Thanks in advance,
Bertrand

The main Nest Wifi unit acts as a router, with DHCP, NAT and firewall. Meaning:
What you got now is known as double NAT:
If you only got one Nest Wifi unit: Put it in bridge mode and use it as an access point only.
Then connect both Nest Wifi and the TV box to the ISP modem instead.
If you got multiple Nest Wifi units: Wireless mesh requires NAT mode to be enabled, so putting Nest Wifi in bridge mode is not an option. Then the options you got left is basically:
---
Edit: There exists a jank, technical workaround that might give you both Nest Wifi wireless mesh, IPTV and no double NAT. This requires deeper technologic network knowledge, and might not even work. For more info, search for "nest wifi pi-hole dhcp dns". Example:

Thanks for your reply.
I do have 3 google wifi so can't use bridge mode..
Will look at your potential workaround to see if it can work here.

thanks for your reply.
It is finally working fine, the solution was to set the DNS of the Google Wifi to the IP of the Internet Provider Box acting as a primary router. That way the TV BOX is able to reach the Provider Box to get IPTV.
(The Google WIFI DNS wheb set to automatic overpass the Internet Box.)
all the best
