Hello,
It is unclear to me how to add a 2nd Google Nest WiFi Router as an access point. When I use the iOS app, Google Home, I try to setup a new device and the app sees it and wants to connect to that device. When I select it, it tells me the device is not connected to the WAN. I don't want this connected to the WAN.
But when I do plug in the cable to connect to the WAN, it wants me to name a WiFi and create a password. I don't want to create a new WiFi access point, I just want it to be an access point on the existing mesh network (1 Google Nest WiFi router and 2 Access points).
How can I do this successfully?
Thank you!

It should be like adding any other point, also mentioned in the setup guide:
Have you seen this troubleshooting guide for iOS?
Do you see your existing Wifi setup in the Google Home app from the device you are using for trying to add the new Nest Wifi unit as a secondary? If not, make sure you're logged in with a Google account that can manage your existing network first. If you've lost access to manage it, you must first factory reset your existing units ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6246619?hl=en ) and set them up from scratch ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9548301?hl=en ) to regain control. Reuse network name (SSID) and password, then your wireless devices should reconnect automagically.

Hey reneamador23,
I just wanted to check back in on this to see if you were able to resolve this. Did you ever try the iOS guide that olavrb shared? Here it is again for reference: https://goo.gle/3Z2hMo1.
Also, double check your permissions in iOS for the Google Home app to make sure that nothing there would be blocking the Home app from fully communicating with your devices.
Thanks,
Jeff

In my iOS app, when I try to add this device, it doesn't allow me to add it as an Access Point. It wants me to plug it in to the network and then name a wireless network. That's not what I want. I just want to add this device to an existing Google Nest Wireless network. I've even tried installing the Google Home app on different devices to manage this network and it still acts the same way.
