I have the Google Home app on android.

I want to create a family group and select devices by MAC address, but all it shows me a list of "unnamed device"s which is not helpful at all.

When I long-click on an "unnamed device" nothing happens. I would expect to see a menu like "more info" where I can see the MAC address.

We totally understand that adding a device to a family group by way of a MAC address is a good way to go, but sadly, it is not available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it. Let us know if you have other questions or concerns; we're here to help.
