Is Google Wifi worth it?

Hi all, 

I have WiFI contract with SKY (UK) 500 mb/s download speed but have lots of connectivity issues throughout my house, I was looking at Google Wifi 3 pack which seems like a solution but Mesh also looks good.

Neither solution is cheap and I'm not that technically minded so wanted to know what others have found to be good solutions to this issue and what they recommend please.
