Is google mesh AC-1304 compatible with Netgear Modem CM2050V

I need to update my cable modem to secure faster download speeds that I am paying for.  I currently have a Netgear CM500V modem connected to google mesh Ac-1304. Is this mesh network compatible with this newer Netgear modem?

Hey Burgher,

The modem you stated should be compatible with your mesh setup. With any modem you use, you need to ensure that any of its wireless capabilities are disabled (if it has them) so that your Google or Nest WiFi router is the only source for a wireless signal. If you want to be 100% certain of its compatibility, however, you can always contact Netgear customer support.

Thanks,
Jeff

I set up the NETGEAR CM2050V modem today without any issues and was able to easily have the Google Mesh AC 1304 (3 pucks) reconnect immediately once the modem was activated with xfinity.  Super simple process. Thank you all for the help

Hey Burgher,

Awesome — glad to hear that your issue is fixed. It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread shortly unless I can help out with anything else.

Cheers,
