How can I control access time to the internet?

I have tried MAC filtering but my eldest has figured out how to change MAC address and has sneakily listed all the other MAC addresses of the other devices in the house.

I have created a guest network and manually turn that on and off but unless I religiously turn it on and off it creates problems.

Almost getting to the point in creating another network with additional devices and putting that on a schedule for the kids.

You should probably look at controlling access on a different level, for instance the device itself. With products like:

Thanks for the response, unfortunately eldest is a bit too savvy for that. He'll dual boot using a USB stick if need be. Found him running Kali Linux off a USB getting round previous efforts. Literally thinking of giving up on using tech and just having a lockable cupboard where devices get signed in and out each day. And I have tried discipline but I have to relent so that he can do homework etc, not only that he will borrow his siblings devices in order to get around any ban.
