Hi there,
My laptop device speed is showing "this device can currently get a maximum of 68.3 Mbps" from the Google wifi device speed.
More specifically it's showing the following:
299Mbps - internet speed
68.3Mbps - Google wifi router speed
365Mbps - device speed
this device can currently get a maximum of 68.3 Mbps
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!

Hello @Heelu
The first number in that list is how fast the primary can talk to the internet (looks like you have 300Mbps internet service). The last number in that list is how fast that device (your laptop in this case) can talk to the access point it's currently connected to (365Mbps). The middle number in that list is how fast that access point can talk to the primary via the wireless mesh interconnect. 68Mbps is rather slow for that link, and if you run a mesh test, I expect you'd see that mesh point having a "weak" rating.
I would try moving that mesh point closer to the primary. Run a mesh test after you move it – what you want to see is a "great" rating. The optimal placement recommended is for mesh points to be one or two rooms away from the primary/router unit. They will provide 2.4GHz and 5GHz coverage to more distant clients from that location.
If you then run a new device speed test, you might see the device speed go down from 365Mbps, since your laptop will now be further away from the secondary. But, as long as the middle number goes up, you should have better end-to-end performance.
