My laptop shows no internet connection while all others have connections, had to pause and unpause

This is the first time I ran into this problem.  Last night I could no longer get connectivity to outside world on my laptop, even though it was able to connect to the wifi endpoint.  All other devices in the household had no issue.  This morning I decided to check if the laptop somehow got paused even though nobody would have done that, and the laptop is NOT paused, but still have no connectivity.  I then decided to pause the device just for test, and then unpause it, then all of a sudden, I regained connectivity.  

I am not sure if anyone has seen this before, but just want to document what I have experienced here.
