Wednesday
Hello everyone, good day! I’d like to share an issue I’m experiencing.
At home, I have three Google WiFi routers (model GJ2CQ). The two secondary units (repeater nodes) are connected to the main router using a switch and Ethernet cables. Both the switch and the cables support 1,000 Mbps.
My home internet speed is 180 Mbps. If my phone connects to the main router, it gets the full 180 Mbps. But if it connects to either of the repeaters, it only gets around 90 Mbps.
However, if I disconnect one of the repeaters, the other one gives me the full 180 Mbps, as expected.
It seems like the main router splits the bandwidth between the two repeaters. Has anyone experienced something similar?
Is there a way to change or improve this configuration?
Thanks in advance!
