Hi, when I moved into my new house there was a TP-Link AC1200 router and BT mesh system. With this setup, I was able to connect to my NAS which was plugged into the AC1200 router.
When I replaced the BT mesh system with the Nest WiFi Pro, the NAS no longer shows up on my Mac when I'm connected to the mesh WiFi. If I switch my Mac to the router WiFi then I can still access the drive, but not on the mesh WiFi.
I have tried disabling DCHP on the router, which resolved an issue with my Sonos speakers, but didn't affect the NAS.
Any help would be much appreciated, my networking knowledge is pretty basic.

Hello @Shauno
The Nest WiFi Pro system is a router & firewall, not just a WiFi access point. So, it's blocking many types of connections between devices on the "inner" Nest WiFi network and the "outer" TP-Link network. Ideally, you'd have everything on one network, replacing the TP-Link router with the Nest WiFi Pro primary unit (and using an inexpensive unmanaged Ethernet switch connected to the Nest WiFi Pro's LAN Ethernet port to make more "inner" network ports available).

Thanks Michael, so presumably the previous BT mesh system didn't have a firewall and that's why I could access the NAS before. Many thanks for your help.
