My Nest Router has been showing offline for multiple weeks, meanwhile the network itself is working as it has. I’ve completely reset my network to factory standards. And set it up again. I’ve followed all suggested options I’ve been able to find on this forum with no luck. I am attaching photos taken 5 minutes before this post.

Also around the same time my Nest doorbell camera has begun turning off intermittently for no apparent reason. The router issue is the only thing I can assume is impacting my camera.

For the router/ network appearing as offline, what have you tried? Have you tried disabling IPv6?

How does your network look like other than Nest Wifi, what's in front of it? Modem, router, switch etc. Trying to find out if you are running double NAT, which can cause strange issues like the ones described.

I don't work for Google.

I had the same issue the other day, what worked for me was: wifi settings (top right icon on your second pic), privacy settings, disable "Nest Wifi cloud services" (it might take a few tries in a few minutes to disable successfully), close the app, wait a few minutes before reopening the app, you can enable the option after it's normal.

Good luck.

Yes sir. Issue remains.

It’s not related to the pace router that my fiber runes into the house on and I’ve attempted the privacy services route many times as it was suggested in previous threads.

no luck.

Hi folks,

Thanks for the update. In some cases, this happens when you have double NAT. To isolate the issue, I would suggest enabling bridge mode on your ISP router. You can click on this link to learn more about this.

Thanks,

Edward
