I have a mesh set up with 1 router and 3 child points. I am recently experiencing the child points are switching offline causing the wifi to lose connection throughout my home. I'm not sure how to fix this. Can it be due to the placement of the points/router?

I have a similar issue with my point. They mesh with 5GHz but that doesn't really work in my house. When measured in the room where the point is the signal level from the Nest router is less than some of my neighbours 5GHz wifi signals so sometimes the Point loses contact. Other Days it will work fine and Home reports a good signal.

Have you been able to fix it? Our issues is that it just started about 3 weeks ago. We weren't having any issues until then.

No I am looking for another solution. It will work for long periods but then doesn't. It just depends on what my neighbors are doing. They are not close but 5GHz travels OK through air

Hi everyone,
Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out. The placement of your mesh points is also a factor. Kindly check the article on Where to place your Wifi devices. If this didn’t improve the connection, try doing the troubleshooting steps below:
