Nest WiFi Router won't connect to the internet

Hey all!

I live in an apartment. We have a little box which provides the internet to each apartment. The box contains a telephone and Internet stick (left and right).

So when I try to set up the router it says "Connection issues" when trying to check the internet signal. I've tried with another router from Asus (RT-AC750 router) and it worked w/o any problems.

I don't think the issues is a missing modem since the box should work as a modem in that sense (or a gateway to a modem).

Can you guys tell me what to do in order to get online with the Nest WiFi?

When the Asus router is up and running, how does it say it got a internet connection (in the web GUI)? DHCP? What WAN IP does it get?

More info on WAN connection and Nest Wifi here:

Hello! Thanks for your reply.

Where do I find the Web GUI? 🙂

It should say on the Asus router. Usually you write "192.168.1.1" in a web browser on a device that's connected to the Asus router.
