Nest WiFi router

Hi all

I have one WiFi router and one WiFi point. In some places of the house I have poor connection. Can I connect and use the second WiFi router instead of the second WiFi point to my mesh to improve connection?

Yes, the routers have a specific addition band for connections to point. A 2nd router will definitely have improved WiFi over that of a point.

 

When setting up the 2nd router in the home app, set it up as a point not a router. You can only have 1 "router" in a mesh and only 1 mesh in a home so the setup will either ask to setup a point or will fail otherwise
