Hi there.
So I've been using the Nest Wifi (one router & one point) for a couple of years, working fine. I bought in the same pack together in the same country (sweden) i'm using them in. Recently in the last months the points started to drop the connection repeatadly. Annoying as that was i tried to remove the point from the network to reinstall it, hoping the problem would go away.
I was suprised to find I can no longer connect the point to the router as i get a error that the point could not connect to the network at the end of the installation process. Reading in these forums i find i'm not alone and other are having issues connecting the point. I have followed the steps usually provided as solutuions but whitout sucess. I'v tried with both Android phone and Ipad, following the advice to turn off Private relay and Privacy & Security > Local Network > Enable Google Home. So far no success. The device responds in a normal way when i do the hard reset but wont finish the set up in the app at the last part (during setup i'm promted that the device is made for another country, despite belonging to the same router I bought here.)
What could have gone wrong? Worked fine a few years and all of a sudden connected poorly and now won't connect. Seems strange.

Thank you for posting here in the community. I'm sorry that your Nest Wifi Point was unable to set up and complete the process. I understand how frustrating it is when it was working fine a few years ago but now is unable to connect again. Help's here.
Please follow this good article to troubleshoot Google Nest WiFi setup issues. There are a few options to try to fix the issue.

Hi ByronP.
Thank you for your help. Unfortunately the troubleshoot guide did'nt help when i tried it. I still get the "something went wrong" at the last step of the setup process.

Ok, so after trying everyhing more than once i found a soulution here https://www.reddit.com/r/GoogleWiFi/comments/17eq07f/solution_to_nest_wifi_point_something_went_wron...
After trying this with an Iphone it did work but not on android.
This is a very annoying issue and needs to be fixed so others dont suffer the same problem.
