I have the nest wifi with 2 wifi points, one is working fine, the other dropped out. i have read through the treads in here, tried everything suggested, but still have issues.
I have reset the unit about 10 times and and followed the setup instructions to the letter, each time it finds the unit, connects to my wifi but when it gets to the last step of "Waiting for the final parts of setup to complete" it just cycles and then times out with a notification of "The operation times out and couldn't be completed".
this is very frustrating.

I'm in the middle of doing the third factory reset of my mesh (Wifi router + 2 points) and it's just so frustrating! I never –repeat NEVER– had so many issues with a tech product. If I cannot make it work I'll just ask my money back and go for so professional solution, doesn't matter the cost.

My nest router and 1 of 2 points connects fine. The other point worked for a.couple months then had a weak connection. Now it times out everytime I try to add it.

Hello everyone,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for this experience.
A few questions: when did the issue start? What Google Home app version are you using? What's your phone model?
Please uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app and move the Google Nest Wifi point right next to the router before going through the setup. If the issue persists, use another phone or tablet to configure the unit.
Looking forward to your responses.
Best regards,
Lovely

I manage to make all three of them work again after doing a hard reset (pushing the button) cause the Home app option didn't work at all. Oh, and I put all three side by side during the whole process. I did it, but it took a big chunk of my morning to succeed.
