My network connection has suddenly dropped, I have gigabit service through Verizon Fios, I used to get ~850mbps upload/download. Suddenly 3 days ago, it dropped to ~80mbps. This is both through wifi and wired ethernet connections.
I have a Fios router that I don't use, and I connected it directly between my service box and computer, and the speed is back to normal. If I plug the output of the Fios router into the Google wifi, or directly from the service box to the Google wifi, it's slow.
I have tried restarting the Google network, unplugging it from power and ethernet, and neither helps.
I haven't tried the 'Factory reset network' option yet, I"m hoping that's a last resort.
Is there anything else that would prevent me from getting the proper speeds?

Without Factory resetting, Unplug all google wifi devices, then plug in the main router only, and see what happens. If the speed is normal, then proceed with the next point, and see if that fixes it.
Also ensure ipV6 is disabled in the google Wifi settings.

Thanks for the response.
I do have ipV6 disabled. I hadn't had the chance to shut down the Google Wifi this weekend to test, but today it has restored itself. I'll continue to monitor the speeds to see if it happens again. I temporarily have the Google wifi router plugged into a Fios router (That was done to test the connection with Verizon tech support), when I have a chance I'll remove that from the chain to make sure it's still working properly.
Thanks again.

Sorry, I’ve been very busy and haven’t had a chance to address this. It does seem to be working, although I’ve noticed the speed drop every now and then, but not to the level it was at.
I’ll see if I can check it this weekend.

I didn’t get a chance to shut everything down (I work from home and have had too much work to allow this), but it seems to have been running at the proper speed since last week.
it looks like it’s ok for now, if it happens again I’ll try to shut it down to see if that has any effect.
Sorry for the delay getting back to this, I really appreciate all of the help.
