New Mesh system

I just connected a mesh system.  The main mesh device is connected to a modem and is named "Office" .

There are two additional connected mesh units in a bedroom and living room.

Regardless of the location of a TV all items connect to "Office" Is that how the system works?  For example would the TV in the bedroom be connected to the device named "office" rather than "Bedroom"

Hey @tomtoad .

The devices will connect to the device with the best signal strength. Since the main unit was set up first, it was the one the devices connected to; they will not switch to one of the points if they have a connection already established that is strong and/or reliable. Try restarting the network:

Restart Google Nest or Google Wifi devices
