No Internet is no LAN

Google Nest Wi-Fi Pro Router and Nest Wi-Fi Pro Points all say Offline and the LAN does not work for any device connected to it. Internet is down but why doesn’t the LAN work?

Is there a work around, so I can use my Lan when internet link is down?

I have an old router that I may need to install first, so it makes the local DNS IP network, but that reduces the Nest WIFI to just a Mesh.

This is a long standing shortcoming with Google Wifi and Nest Wifi, don't expect a fix soon if ever.
