Not able to connect smart plug

Vossing
Community Member

I am not able to connect to smart plugs from Deltaco because Deltaco smart home requires 3.4Ghz wifi network. I am asked to change to 2.4Ghz neteork by the Deltaco app. How can I do that with Google Nest?

Any other smart plugs that work with Google Nest?

You can't disable or rename 5ghz SSID.

Some say TP-Link Kasa works. More info from the past:

I don't work for Google.

If you move far enough away from the Wi-Fi router, it should change it to 2.4 GHz which should help connect the smart plug. The closer you are to the router the better chance of getting 5 GHz which is not helping you.
