One google mesh thingy doesn't connect

New issue. one of my mesh box things is constantly flashing blue. I've reset both the modem, router and mesh points. Moved it closer to router. I'm out of ideas. Maybe, its dead? Overall, system doesn't seem to be very fast, even though home app says my wifi is "blazing fast" at the router. 855 mbps

 

Box says google wifi. I guess that is Gen 1? I've only had it a little over a year

Hello Jimswms,

 

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let’s further look into it. A flashing or pulsing blue light on a Google Wifi device means it is ready for setup. Are you getting any error messages during the Google Home app set-up? You can visit the Set up Google Wifi article to confirm if your device is a Google Wifi.
