Onhub as mesh with google wifi or nest wifi as router

What is the latest on being able to use the Onhub units past dec 2022 as mesh point with google wifi or nest wifi as main router?

- If setup before dec 2022?

- if setup after dec 2022?

Also I have to say this is really poor from google to drop the onhub like this; I wanted to say drop support, but this isn't only dropping support this is obsoleting a perfectly fine product that is already compatible with the wifi and nest products.

Hey, Robbie47.

Thanks for asking about the OnHub discontinuation. Essentially, the OnHub will still provide a WiFi signal if set up before the cutoff, but it won't be manageable within the app. You can see the full details of it all here: https://bit.ly/3eb9pBv.

If you have any other questions about this, let me know. I'm sorry you're disappointed by the discontinuation of OnHub. You will still be able to use it in limited capacity, but I understand why you're still frustrated with the changes.

Thanks.

You might want to consider replacing OnHub with a newer, faster (wifi 6) router from the same TPLink folks. Less expensive (by half) vs Nest, easy to set up. Did I mention it is faster than Nest?
