300 Mbps at entry point. main router node + 1 additional node later getting only 20mbps. there is about 40 feet distance from my laptop to router node (main node).
Tried different things like moving the nodes here and there. These are AC1200 nodes model AC1304.
Google wifi mesh in general sucks in terms of speed. Any advice/suggestions would be great.
Thanks

Hey, vinslowwifi.
Sorry about the network performance you've been seeing. That sounds really frustrating. I wanted to let you know that we have a firmware update coming out now. Some people may have already received the update, but most will see it coming still. Everyone will have it before the end of April. If you receive that update and don't see an improvement in your issues here, please let me know and we can keep looking into things.
Thanks.

No problem, vinslowwifi.
Just to add to that info, the update version for both Google WiFi and Nest WiFi will be 14150.43.80. If you are seeing a different version number when you check in Google Home, you have yet to receive the updated firmware. Let me know if you have any questions about that.
Thanks.

As of now I am seeing the firmware version as 13729.57.27
Does it automatically updates when the new firmware is available?.

Hi, vinslowwifi.
Yes, the update will happen automatically. There's nothing you will need to do in order to update the firmware. Once the firmware has downloaded, the network will restart itself to apply the update and you'll be all current with the latest version.
Thanks.

Hi, ssray73.
I know we have been waiting on that update, but it's been a while since we've checked in. I wanted to see if you got that firmware release and to see if it improved anything on your end. If you're still waiting for the firmware, it should arrive real soon. Let me know if you have seen any changes on your network.
Thanks.
