My long standing, more than two years now, port forward rules keep disappearing from the Google Home app which causes outside connections to stop working. I cleared the cache and data of the GH app last week and added them back manually, and today they are gone again.
When you go to add new ones and go to choose a list of devices, it shows no devices connected to the network. Which is not true. The main Devices tab shows 44 devices for me. Really don't want to keep having to set these up every other day to maintain stability. Seems clearly like another bug in the GH app. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and also trying from my Samsung Tab S8 Ultra.
Another bug that still exists that I reported in another thread is you cannot add port forward rules for devices/IPs that have a current DHCP reservation. You have to remove the reservation and then add the forward rule. Really inconvientent when you are adding new rules for devices that have static assignments.
Would be great if these could be addressed so I don't have to change out to Ubiquiti networking gear to do simple network settings.
