Port Forwarding as a family member

How do I port forward my IP so I can host a Minecraft server and play with my friends. The articles I've read so far have all said to go onto the Google Home app and tap on the Wi-Fi icon then go to settings. However, There is no Wi-Fi Icon for me. Is this because I'm part of the household and only the home "Owner" is able to access this? If not, how can I port forward?

There is no granular permissions control in Google Home, so any home member are able to access all settings.

A workaround for this is to create a separat Google Home home for the Wifi, if you want the other people in the house to access Google Cast devices and similar, but not Wifi. Maybe that's what has been done here?
