Problems with google nest wifi pro

jleechan

I recently upgraded to google nest wifi pro from the old google wifi pucks and have been having issues with my pool wifi device. It's an iaqualink 2.0 and only works on 2.4 GHz. Sometimes I am able to control my pool through WiFi and at other times it loses the connection and I have to restart my google WiFi. Anyone have a workaround.

Hello everyone,

@jleechan and @mepcc55, thanks for reaching out. Please make sure that your Wi-Fi network name and password do not contain any special characters or spaces. Power cycle your iAqualink 2.0 and mesh system for 2 minutes. If that did not resolve the issue, you may set a static IP address for your pool equipment and see if that helps.

Keep me posted.

Sincerely,
Lovely

I did power cycle the mesh system and it did resolve the issue which is a good thing as I have no clue how to set a static IP address.  Thanks

Hi folks,

@mepcc55, I appreciate the update. I'm glad to know that the steps I provided helped. Let me know if you have other concerns or questions.

@jleechan, have you tried the troubleshooting steps that I suggested above? Please tell me if that did the trick or not, so we can try something else.

Cheers,
Lovely
