Have BT Broadband with BT Halo and Smart Hub 2 router/wifi. Have 2 of the BT Halo Wifi Discs as well.
Download speed on Wifi of 300-400Mbps down, 100-200 up. Loaded around 20-60ms. Direct ethernet connectivity up to 900-1100 Mbps down, 300 up.
I decided to go all i Google WIfi Pro as wanted Wifi 6 and a real mesh.
Bought 3 Google Wifi Pro devices. The router plugged into BT Homehub 5 via Ethernet. Wifi disabled on BT Homehub.
Download speeds are poor. Latency is appalling. I've tested different locations, and ticking the video prioritisation box (some sort of QoS). It's all worse than my BT setup.
Any ideas of any other things I can do? Anyone else having similar issues? Thanks 🙂

The suboptimal performance of your Google Wifi Pro mesh system could be influenced by several factors. Firstly, ensure optimal node placement, avoiding interference and obstructions. Manually select Wi-Fi channels, update firmware regularly, and separate SSIDs for 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Assess network congestion, prioritize QoS settings, and consider wired Ethernet backhaul for improved connectivity. Identify potential sources of interference and adjust settings on the BT Homehub 5. If issues persist, contact Google Support for personalized assistance and diagnostics. Regularly monitor for firmware updates, review device connectivity, and explore additional troubleshooting steps within the Google Wifi Pro app. A combination of these measures should enhance the performance of your Google Wifi Pro mesh network.
