I’ve read through a lot of posts on this subject but haven’t seen a real good answer. I have 880+ Mbps at the router. One waypoint, which is less than 30 feet away with no obstructions, has a speed of 117 Mbps. The other, one room away, is at 183 Mbps. How can this be remedied? I have devices for work and need the apples I pay for

What exact units do you have?
I have 2x Nest Wifi router in wireless mesh and get about 600/600mbps at the 2nd one.
Some things to try:
Too many units on too tight space hurts performance due to interference. See:
If ethernet cable between Nest Wifi units is possible, that would give even better performance. This is known as "wired backhaul". Diagram on how:
More info:
Ethernet can also travel over coax (MoCA) and power line.

I have the Neat Wi-Fi (not Pro). I have nothing enabled under priorities and my setup is from my modem direct to the router. Nothing else connected to the modem.

Hey Antone74,
Can you run a mesh test and let me know what the connection strength reads on each point? I know your placement sounds within recommended placement, but I would like to rule out any troubles getting a good signal between your router and points. Let me know what those results end up saying.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hello Antone74,
Apologies for the late reply. Could you try olavrb's suggestion regarding using Ethernet cable for your Google Wifi points and check if there will be any difference? We'll wait for your update.

Abi

Hey again Antone74,
Thanks for the update. Are you using a CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable?
Best,
Abi
