I've recently moved devices in our home, from wired connections to a wireless connection on our Nest mesh wifi. -- The device locations no longer allow for a wired connection for a myriad of reasons. -- After setting up and verifying that the device is connected to the Nest Wifi network, none of the devices (a 2021 Roku Ultra and an older LG smart tv) are able to connect to any of the streaming services, including YouTube.
While testing that the Roku was unable to connect to the Wifi, I verified the issue (which doesn't produce a device error message, but rather an error within each channel/app) in the prior location, albeit in wireless mode instead of being connected via ethernet cable.
This tells me that this is either a Google Nest device limitation or a Nest Wifi configuration issue.
Any support or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Would suggest you reboot your Nest wifi , preferably an actual power cycle and not the soft reset in app, before doing any extended troubleshooting.

Hi Ashepherdson,
Thank you for the recommendation. I've done a power cycle reboot on all Nest devices (including the ATT router... Just for grins and giggles), and no change has occured with the Roku or other streaming devices. I'm still unable to connect.

Jeff,
Thank you for the poke. I've taken the recommended actions, and I'm still unable to access channels via the nest wifi.

Hey, indybender.
I'm still waiting to hear more on this. I'm sorry for the frustration it's causing, but I will update when I know more.
Thanks.

Thank you Jeff!
In the meantime, my wife and I are actively swapping rooms/TVs with our Xbox and Nintendo Switch based on who's steaming TV vs playing on the internet vs playing non-connected games. - kinda frustrating, not gonna lie, but we're not throwing remotes 😆

Hi, indybender.
Sorry for the late return to the thread here, but I do have a little update. First off, however, are you still seeing this issue? If so, I might have some good news for you. We're rolling out a new firmware right now that's hitting WiFi routers and points and it looks to address a lot of of issues. You don't need to do anything to receive the update, it will download and apply automatically. That can hit any day now, but it could take a couple of weeks still.
If you still have issues after the update, let me know. I'm hoping this ends up being the cure. Also, if things have already ironed out, that would be even better.
Thanks.

Having a similar problem with streaming audio on Lenovo smart display and Smart Clock. I'm within my radio station's geo-fence but unable to listen. Android phone and Alexa work fine. Rebooted, paired with a different wifi network, confirmed correct local address in Google account.

Don't know what I am talking about but I think it something to do with an IP address. When I connected a router to my google wifi it now has an ip address and my LG tv works. Google Wifi does not recommend using a 3rd party router but I cannot get my LG tv to function without a route
