I upgraded to a Nest Pro WiFi 6e setup this weekend and it was a significant improvement over my older Google WiFi network.
I'm confused though by an issue I am having with my Synology NAS. I have a two unit setup: Nest WiFi Living Room is connected directly to my modem. Nest WiFi Basement is my second point and it's located in my basement. My NAS is connected directly to it. However, when I look in the Google Home app, the NAS is connected to the Living Room unit over WiFi.
any ideas why this is? I was assuming that it would connect to Wi-Fi over the basement point, especially because that is the point closest to the computers I used to access it.
I don't know if that is affecting my speed or not, but I'd really like to figure this out.

Hi mg33,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your update to Google Nest Wifi Pro is not connecting to your Wi-Fi points. I am happy to assist you! Before we continue, I need to ask a question: are your Wi-Fi points the same model as your Google Nest Wifi Pro, or are you using your old models?
I will be awaiting your response.
Regards,
Manuel
