I received a starter set that was used but should still be good. It consists of a router and an access point with the WiFi 5 standard. The router is on the network and Google Home is running. Extenders are also integrated but the access point that was supplied is offline. When I want to put it into operation it wants to have a QR code or a setup code. I don't have either of these... What other options do I have?
thanks in advance for the help

It sounds like your Nest Wi‑Fi access point is timing out during setup or failing to mesh properly. Here are some proven steps that often fix it:
Try this sequence:
Skip the QR scan and manually join the setup network broadcasted by the access point.
Enter the setup code (typically on a sticker beneath the device).
If that fails, disconnect power, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in and continue setup via the Google Home app.
Many users report this method helps complete the mesh setup successfully. Plus, you can disable IPv6 temporarily in the app during setup—it often resolves timeout issues reddit.com+8reddit.com+8googlenestcommunity.com+8.
